Audio on ipad??

You may also want to make sure you have "Private Browsing" disabled in Safari:

I have IOS 6.1.2 on my ipad and just received the Storyline software last Wednesday and it is up to date. Audio is fine on PC but not on ipad or iphone. Not a great start with new software. Alot of programs seem to have issues with HTML5 and ipads

HTML5 is not my personal favorite, putting it mildly..

I totally understand the frustration with the limitations and I'm sorry that you're having to work with this.

I'm hopeful that one day we won't need to use the workarounds for it, but in the meantime, I certainly hope it's helped, at least a little bit.

Safari on iPad has some media playing limitations: it's impossible to auto-start audio or video on iPad, user have to click button to play media file.
