Audio on Screencast Video
Nov 05, 2012
I seem to have lost the feature to capture the system audio on videos. If I go to the options I can see the various output methods listed under 'Speakers' but no matter which one I choose I only have the option of Microphone or 'No Audio' .
This was working fine and the same options are there as always. It's driving me nuts. Anyone have any ideas? [System seems to be OK as I'm using the work around of recording using Camtasia.]

Hey Paul,
Were you able to get this resolved yet? Are you on the same computer as you were before? If you'd like to open a case we can help get this worked out. Thanks!
Hi Pete,
I know this issue is my PC and not Storyline as I've just reied another PC but I just can't track the problem down. Any ideas would be welcome. I cannot record/capture system audio and if I try to republish acourse containing video produced when it was working, the video will not play.
Can't see anything wrong with settings/drivers and I can still record audio on video using other programs. Could it be codecs?
Sorry for the trouble with this, Paul. It may be that Windows doesn't recognize your recording device or microphone. This article has a little more information about that.
