Audio Problems with iPad

Sep 11, 2013

Hello,

I have been trying to view content on my iPad with multiple audio files and only 1 audio file will play at a time.  I did a little research and saw that there are issues with earlier versions of Storyline and iOS.  I checked my versions--I am running the most recent version of Storyline (1305.2012) and my iOS is 6.1.3.  When my projects have been published, the HTML 5 output and Articulate Mobile Player for iPad are both selected.

Also, I have viewed my projects via our company's LMS website in my iPad's Safari browser, but none of the projects are showing up in my Articulate Mobile Player.

Any reason as to why this is happening?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi Rachel and welcome to Heroes!

It sounds like you've got two issues here - the first being, not accessing the course via the AMP. You didn't mention which LMS you're using so I wanted to point you to this article, where at the bottom you'll see that use of the AMP with your LMS, depends on the following:

If your LMS doesn’t require a login, your learners might be able to use the Articulate Mobile Player. If your LMS requires a login, learners might not be able to use the Articulate Mobile Player, because browsers cannot pass security credentials to iPad apps unless the LMS supports Tin Can API. You'll need to test your published output in your particular LMS environment if you plan to allow viewing in Articulate Mobile Player.

Since you've already checked into the troubleshooting settings for the audio issue and confirmed you're running the updated versions of both Storyline and iOS, would you be able to share your .story file with us here so that our team can test it as well?
