Audio recording error after Windows 10 upgrade

Hi, I tried recording narration directly through Storyline 2 audio editor after upgrading to Windows 10 and noticed my audio now sounds muffled and robotic, almost in slow-mo.
I unplugged my head set and recorded straight from laptop to see if it is the head set and the same sound quality appears.
I suspect some adjustment in audio settings is needed after Windows 10 upgrade (?) but please advise if you have noticed this audio issue as well and any advise?
I've attached the audio samples
Cheers
Justin

Hi Justin,
Thanks for sharing those samples here - a bit scary sounding, like a movie! I didn't experience any audio issues recording in Storyline 2 on Windows 10 and I used my built in computer mic/speakers and then a standard iPhone mic/earbuds. So I'm not sure there are any specific settings you need to use - did you previously have custom settings in your other Windows version? How do audio files sound recorded outside of Storyline?
Yeah it sounds scary : ) . All the samples were recorded through my built-in microphone in laptop. I tried recording on Windows 10 Voice Recorder outside of Storyline and it sounds fine (hear attached). Are there any audio settings for Storyline Audio (eg. wavelength, etc) that can be checked? Just wondering if some default setting was changed when I installed Windows 10.
There aren't any specific audio settings in Storyline for recording, but if you're unable to record these are the Windows settings we recommend checking.
You could also look at repairing Storyline in case something occurred during the Windows update and install.
