I have a question regarding narration in Storyline. When I switch between layers in my project, with each button progressing forward in the narration, and then attempt to go backwards, the audio picks up from where it left off, rather than starting the narration from the beginning. How do I fix this?
Here's what I think I understand: you have various layers on a slide and each layer is to play a certain audio file. Sounds like maybe you have a seekbar present on the slide and are using that to go backwards?
Not sure what you mean by "each button progressing forward in the narration." Do you mean progressing slide by slide? A little more info would help. --Daniel

Hello Noah,
On the layer properties, make sure to choose
"Reset to Initial State" when revisiting.
This way your audio will always start from the beggining instead of picking up from where it left off.
