Audio/Slide Annimations Drag After Publishing

Mar 08, 2017

Hello,

My company recently (last two weeks) transitioned to Articulate 360 for our eLearning authoring needs.  Prior to this, I used my personal computer and personally owned version of Storyline 2 to create a project for the organization.  I published it for "Web" because currently, trainings are offered through a SharePoint site.  No problem, until now...I have updated the project in Articulate 360 and published for "Web".  I added it to our SharePoint and on one of the slides, the audio drags (or doesn't play at all), and the animations also drag.  The project plays as intended when published locally to my computer and also when published to and added to Articulate 360 online.  So, I am uncertain of what the issue might be.  Should I publish still for "Web" now that we have 360?...or, ...other suggestions?

This project is scheduled to launch very shortly, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

thanks so much!

Hello Exeter Finance Corporation and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)

Interesting that it's working in other environments, but not in Sharepoint. I don't have much experience with Sharepoint for sure, but are you stating that the SL2 version works as expected, but the updated version to SL360 is not working when published in the same way?

I would expect the web publish to be correct for your setup. Curious if you see an issue when uploading to Tempshare or is it simply limited to Sharepoint?

Hello Margo - I'm not clear on why you now want it on SL2, is that because of it not working in Sharepoint? Did you test in the Tempshare environment and confirm that it is working there? If the issue only exists within Sharepoint, I would follow up with your team. Perhaps others in the community will be able to chime in with their experience and best practices.
