I have developed a slide with the clickable buttons, upon clicking the button the respective popup will display.
When the audio is imported for the main screen and popup screen, after clicking the button, both the main screen audio and popup audio is playing simultaneously.
Is there a way to stop the audio in the main layer, once the popup audio is played
Hi Surya! Glad that Michael was able to assist you here. As for your second question, I wasn't sure if you had checked out this thread with various solutions to see if any of them will assist you with what you are trying to accomplish.
I am facing another issue, Initially when the button is clicked the respective popup is displayed and audio plays. Upon clicking the another button, it displays another popup2. When the both the popup are displayed at the same time both the audio is overlapping.
You either ned to hide the other layer (using a trigger or the default behaviour or turn off the audio using a trigger. These are not really issues with the software but with your design.
This is the way layers are intended to work, if you don't want layers to hide other layers then you need to use triggers to stop the audio when the next layer loads or prevent the user opening a layer until the audio has stopped

If by `popup` you mean `layer`, then you can set the layer`s properties to Pause the baselayer`s timeline (and with that the audio).
Hi Surya! Looks like Michael is assisting you here, just let us know if you need anything further.
Hi Micheal,
Thanks for the solution, it helped.
But now i need to stop the audio on the main layer, after returning to the main layer from the popup layer.

Hi Phil,
Is there any other way to stop the audio on the popup1 when the popup 2 is displayed
Hi Surya,
I'm not aware of any other options than what Phil described:
- hiding the layer, and setting it up so the layer is inaccessible from a second layer would stop the audio
- add a trigger to stop the audio based on X happening
This is the way layers are intended to work, if you don't want layers to hide other layers then you need to use triggers to stop the audio when the next layer loads or prevent the user opening a layer until the audio has stopped
