Auto numbering of slides

Sounds like you may need to just re-set the menu from the story:

I am not sure how you have these numbered, since Storyline does not have this function.

If you set something up using triggers and variables, you would need to adjust those in the file to update the new slide location.

If you are referring to the slide numbers in the Menu tab, you can rename the slide titles and add the correct number there, or use the reset from story button in the Menu tab.

Thank you for your response. If I do what you suggested, the slides will rearrange and I loose the changes that I have made. (i.e. I have change the order of the slide. See this example :

In this exemple, I have clicked on the «reset from story» button. And I loosed my changes. I want to rearrange the slides and change their order. For example, the objectifs slide should be after slide 3.2 and renamed 3.3.

If you move the order in the Menu tab, you will need to change the name in there as well. Moving the slides in the Menu tab within the player, will not move them in the story itself.

If you do move the slides in the project file, their number order will update in the Menu tab.

You're right. I moved the slides into the project file and their numbers as changed. Thank you very much!
