Hi, all. Sometimes I dislike saving constantly due to the amount of time it can take. Well, I lost the wager this time. About 1-1/2 hours of work is gone, UNLESS there is a backup temp file somewhere?
I apologize for the issue. Storyline doesn't currently support an auto-save or recovery feature. If you'd like to see that feature implemented into a future release, please submit a feature request to us by using the link below:
If you haven't already you'll want to also share your thoughts here in the form of a feature request as those go to our product development team. Since Storyline doesn't currently include an auto save or version control set up, you may want to implement a method for backing up your files as described here.
To whoever is listening: I like not having an auto-save feature. I do a lot of screen recordings, and often need to reset my project back to its original state. I realize that I may be in the minority.

It would be nice to see a version control feature (configurable) when saving project files also.
