I am trying to stop Storyline from autocorrecting 3 periods into an ellipsis. Any idea how to do this? It is not in the autocorrect list and turning autocorrect off does not stop it from changing. There seem to be no options, like in office, to revert back for each instance.
Hi, Rachel -- Thanks for reaching out here and sorry to hear of your troubles! I appear to be having the same difficulty and also ensured that my autocorrect box was unchecked, so I will go ahead and report this issue to our QA team for additional analysis. And while I do not have a workaround or a timeframe to share in which this behavior may be addressed, any additional updates will be shared here as they are received.
Still seeing this behaviour - Storyline 360 corrects three dots into a single character ellipsis. I've found a workaround though: type two dots, then cursor back to the before the first dot and add the third dot there.
I haven't come across this behavior, so it took me some time to understand. 😅 I thought that Storyline would highlight the change. I'd like to gather more clarification and will share any updates with you as soon as I can!

Hi, Christina. Thanks for adding your voice!

For those following along: Here's a quick Peek 360 recording of the behavior and how to adjust the dots. (Awesome discovery, Christina!)
UPDATE: The same autocorrection happens in Microsoft Word, so it seems to be a grammar correction standard.
In Word though you can choose to remove it from your Autocorrect options, or switch the auto correct off. Storyline doesn't give you that choice.
