Automated numbering on quiz question slides - static (not randomized)
Dec 14, 2018
Hi there!
I've been trying to find a way to add automated quiz question numbers onto each quiz question slide.
These are not shuffled or randomized. They are static quiz questions. But it is extremely time consuming to copy/paste "Question 1 out of 72" and adjust on every single slide. And if I add or remove a question later on, that is a ton of extra work to fix all the question #'s. There must be an automated way to add the question number right?
I've seen threads discussing using %quizNum% and an +Add 1 variable. But this does not work when "reviewing" the quiz (since moving forward and backward adds to the quiz number each time).
Is there a way to add automated question slide numbers that I'm not seeing?
Thanks!

Hi,
The simplest method is to set quizNum on every slide of the Quiz.
You can copy one trigger and select all Quiz slides and paste at once.
Then change the value manually.
Quiz 1: Set quizNum = 1
Quiz 2: Set quizNum = 2
.
.
.
Quiz 72: Set quizNum = 72
On the screen: Question %quizNum%
