My Company will change its LMS in a few month and we face a problem about publication : the necessary publication format for the new LMS (HTML5 only) is different from the publication format of the current LMS (Flash only).
Is there a way to change the publication format without re-publishing all the files manually ? Thousands of files are concerned....
We have Storyline 2 (to convert in Storyline 3 at opening) and Storyline 3 files.
No, the format (HTML5 or Flash or both) is generated during the publishing process, so you will need to re-publish all project files. If you are upgrading from Storyline 2 to Storyline 3 or 360, you should also test all of your projects to make sure that the course behaves the same. Articulate support will probably have more information for you.
Edit: One possibility is that if you published to both HTML5 and Flash from Storyline 2, you might be able to edit the published output to force the courses to now use only HTML5. I think you will still want to upgrade to Storyline 3/360 though for the improved HTML5 support.
