I'm sure someone has a better suggestion, but you could have a lightbox open at the start of your first slide with the reminder. Then, once the user has viewed it, they can make the changes to the browser, close the window and continue with the course.
I'm not sure how you would test the way the user is accessing the course. I was under the impression you'd be distributing it only for Safari use. I'm not sure if you could do something like that with coding, or not. Do you plan on having a group of users only running from Safari? Maybe you could just make a mobile version for those users and have the lightbox start from the beginning. Obviously, that depends on how you plan to distribute the course, though.
As for code, I'm not sure. I would think this is something you'd have to add to the HTML content or in JavaScript. This isn't something we can provide support on, however.
I know quite a few of our community members work with modifying the HTML files and work with JavaScript. Hopefully, someone with some experience with this will be able to give you some advice on this topic. In the meantime, you may also want to try posting over in the Building Better Courses section for some additional exposure to the topic and hopefully you'll get some feedback that will help you set this up.
If you do find some information on this, I would love to see it. Feel free to share what you find. I'm sure someone else may have a similar goal in mind for a project.
Thanks XAn! I hope you have a great Friday and good luck on the project

Hi Xan,

Curious to see how you do this. Keep us posted!
Thanks Christine - that is the right approach for sure. Just a question though...
How do I test if the user is accessing the course over iPad mobile safari and then trigger the lightbox?

Hi Christine,
I was hoping for a 1 course for all approach with a condition IF user is on mobile THEN trigger lightbox for mobile safari instructions.
Is there any such code out there ?
Thanks
