Avatar best practices
Oct 26, 2015
Hi All! I'm relatively new to creating e-learning courses, and I was curious to hear what the consensus is on "rules" or best practices for using avatars. In particular, I'd like to use an avatar for a project that I'm working on where they will answer a few questions throughout the training. Do I need to introduce them at the beginning? Or can I just insert the avatar into the training as needed? In my mind it will be clear that they represent the voice guiding the course, but I'm not sure if this is the best approach.
Thank you in advance!

Hi, Claudia -- Thanks for your question! I may not have exactly the 'Best Practices' info you were hoping for, but I did want to provide the links to some threads on the subject of avatars that you may find useful:

Hope that helps and that others in the community chime in to share their advice and suggestions, as well! :)
