Background Color change after publishing

All, I have a project that I have been working on for the last week that has been published several times. After loading it on my LMS and launching, I noticed that the background color has changed from white to gray. When the project is previewed in Storyline it's fine but once published the slide background color changes.
Incidently, I have also posted three versions on Tempshare. When I go back and look at the oldeer versions that are on Tempshare the background is gray and I know that this is not the way that it was when I posted it.
Any thoughts or suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated.
Best,
David

Hey everybody! I would like to provide you with a link to our knowledge base article, Slide Background Is Darker in Published Articulate Storyline 2 Course.
That article gives an explanation and the process to get your desired effect. Thanks!
I'm having the same problem. White background publishes out to grey in Articulate Storyline 3. Formatted background is white with no transparency. Player settings set for background slide to be white. Not sure what is happening. Please see attachment.
Hi J - Sorry that you're having difficulty with this. It looks like Crystal responded to you on a similar question here. Just wanted to link the two for anyone following along and to keep the conversation in one location :)
Hello Crystal,
Issue> The Video background changes to grey after publishing in Storyline360
We are facing the same challenge as mentioned in this initial thread (5 yrs ago!). We dont see this issue when we publish it in Storyline2. Is there any workaround to fix this issue?
We are using 'modern' player, hence we had to publish the course in Storyline360.
Hi Imgk,
Would you be able to share a copy of your .story file so that we could take a look at this project and see the grey background? If you're able to share here, you can click here and upload publicly, or send it to our Support Team.
We’ll delete it when done troubleshooting.
Hi Ashley
1. I have shared the Storyline360 (v3.26.18364.0) source file with 2 video slides. When we publish it, a Grey patch appears at the video background.. I have attached the screenshot of the same.
2. I have attached the same video source file in SL2 format also. The grey patch doesn't appear when we publish it in SL2.
We have created loads of such slides and any quick workaround to fix this, is much appreciated.
Hi imgk. I published your Storyline 360 file to Review 360, and here's what I saw:
We have this issue documented, so I'll make sure to notify you of any changes we make.
Can you test my output link and let me know what you see and what browsers you're using? I want to make sure we can document the gray patch you're experiencing!
Hi Crystal horn,
I viewed the same in my Chrome browser (73.0.3683.86) and could see the gray patch the entire video area.. Screenshot attached. Unfortunately the same grey patch appears in my Customer's browser also.
Thanks, imgk. I'm sorry we aren't getting on the same page. I'm sharing your file and screenshots with our support engineers for further help. You'll get an email from one of my teammates with some next steps.
I'll follow the case, too, so I can update this discussion with the results.
Thanks for the support... appreciate it.
Hello everyone!
I'm thrilled to share that this bug has been fixed in Storyline 360 Update 36 (Build 3.36.21213.0)!
In previous versions, mp4 videos were displayed with an outline which was not expected behavior. Our team has released the fix, and it's ready for download.
To stay up to date with new bug fixes and features, we recommend updating your Articulate 360 Desktop App!
