Background music on certain slides

Hi,
I've created an introduction to e-learning presentation in storyline to put to the business and managed to add in javascript after publishing to put background music into the presentation as I know this is something Storyline can't do at the moment. However I was wondering if there was a way to have the background music only play on certain slides or automatically become very low volume audio on certain slides.
Some of my slides have videos or speech embedded and I just wondered if there was a streamline way of letting these take precendence over the background music, without have to time and place sound into each slide and have those awful breaks in when proceeding between slides.
I hope this makes sense, and any helpw ould be greatly appreciated.

Hi Cristin and welcome to Heroes!
You mention using JavaScript (we won't be able to provide support on any changes needed) to set up the background music? If so, you should be able to setup something with variables involving the video and the start of the music. It could be something as simple as having a variable be incremented by 1 when the video starts playing. Then have your code setup to stop the music when that variable changes. I don't know of a way to have the music be "dimmed" though.
