Bad Image Quality

Jun 06, 2019

I am experiencing bad quality output of images when inserted into storyline. I have read all of the threads and discussions about not resizing the image, I have tried every image format possible, I have played around with the publish settings, I have tried EVERYTHING and the images still look poor and it is bringing down the quality of my lesson. I am getting extremely frustrated with this as it seems such a basic thing that many people have had issues with but there does not seem to be a resolution.

I have had the same issue too (and I am not resizing either)! I tried sending and uploading my articulate file to support and they are not able to identify the issue for me - yes, it is frustrating - when support finds a solution, can I be copied on the result please??

Interestingly, when I look at the individual slide, it is clear and crisp, yet when I put it in "Preview" all those images (mostly screen captures) are blurred and causes my test participants to "squint" to try to see it.

Hi Alan,

I saw you worked through this issue with my colleague, Victor, as well. It looks like there may have been some sizing/rescaling of images based on how they were imported from Powerpoint? He shared those details with our team and we're looking at options to further clarify that piece of importing images in our best practices article.
