I have an entire package where the base layer gets hidden when a layer is selected. I can still interact with the buttons on the base layer even though I can't see them (only because I know where they are). I need to be able to show the base layer.
There are no triggers set to hide anything. The base layer goes for the whole of the timeline. The layer settings are attached. This is just a plain layout slide with a layer - no background images - just some buttons and it happens to every slide in the package that has layers.
Hi, If you haven't tried this yet, try setting up a new project to see if the issue is project specific, or a general issue you're having with Storyline.
Do you see this across multiple projects or just one file?
Does this happen during preview, or publish only?

Oh and I've played with toggling the eyes on the layers, and in the timeline - there is no effect.
