I am trying to create an interactive module that has six layers. But for some reason, the base layer objects appear on other layers as well even after checking the layer properties box 'Hide baselayer objects'.
Welcome to Heroes! I think part of your confusion is what the "base layer" is. In your story example, slide 1.2 has a layer called "Main Title." Main Title is your base layer for Storyline. Even though your next layer is named, "Base Layer," that is not the layer that Storyline is referring to as the base layer.
So, don't name a layer "Base Layer." The slide without any layers at all is what Storyline is referring to as the base layer.
Hi, Fathima, as Meryem mentioned, the so called "base layer" on Slide 1.2 misled other layers, therefore, I deleted the culprit layer and made adjustments to all the others layers . Please refer to the attached story file.
Hello, Fathimal, the problem lies in the Slide trigger you set for Layer Introduction-- "Jump to next slide when the timeline ends", which means the presentation will jump to Slide 1.2 when Layer Introduction on Slide 1.1 comes to the end. But actually, it should jump to Layer Conversation 2 instead. Am I making this logic clearly ? Therefore, just delete this trigger and set a new trigger to path to Layer Conversation 2. Please refer to the attached story file.
