Base Slide Missing

I opened up the file you shared and slide 1.7 seems fine.  The timeline is viewable on the base layer and is changeable.

The problem is in the layer-  the base slide is suddenly not showing and if you go to the timeline on the bottom [ in the layers] you will see that all the objects on the base slide are there; however appear blank on the slide itself which doesn't show the basic objects :(

Sorry, Shelly, I'm not following the issue you are describing.  I do see one small thing in that on the base layer it looks like you have a Trigger set for STEP1 that links to "show layer Subject", but I think you meant for that to go to to the "layer Status".

Other then that I can click around when previewing slide 1.7 and things are popping up when I click each Step Button.

The thing is that all layers are supposed to show the base objects unless I clicked "hide" 

attached is a screenshot of what I mean- the timeline in all layers in the "basic layer objects" part is blank somehow and I don't understand why.

If I click on any layer [other than the base] - a few hours I go I could see the base objects and the new objects I put on the layers. 

As you can see in the project every layer is supposed to be an addition to the base slide- however it dissappeared.

You just mean when you're looking at editing - as everything appears in preview for me? 

When you're in the slide editing mode, you'll want to keep the checkmark associated with the base slide layer:
