I have created a base layer for my slide, and when I add a new slide layer, I just see a blank white slide, and the base layer does not show. Is there a setting I can check or some way to correct this?
There sure is a way to adjust your slide layer so that the base layer shows as well. You can do this by clicking on the slide layer, then the ⚙️on the bottom right corner to open up your Slide Layer Properties, and make sure the option to Hide objects on base layer is unchecked.
If this option is already unchecked, let me know and we can dig into it a little further!
Thanks for your reply. Yes, that option is already unchecked (I have attached a screenshot). Let me know if there's any other troubleshooting I can do.
Thanks for confirming that the box was unchecked. Are you comfortable with sharing your .story file for testing? You can share it publicly here, or privately with me here. I'll delete it when we nail down what's going on!
