I am very new to creating elearning and a beginner with Storyline but have just completed my first course. It looks great (for a beginner) viewing it on a computer but I really want to see what it looks like on a phone or tablet, to check font sizes etc.
My employers LMS isn't ready yet so I can't host it there. I have published as a web course and tried running it from both google drive and Dropbox but it doesn't seem to work on my phone/tablet.
This may seem obvious but you are selecting "Include HTML5 output" in the publishing options, right? If you want to use the Articulate Mobile Player you can select that option too. The elearning should launch using the same "story.html" file as with the desktop. I don't have much experience trying it on a phone but we do iPad courses all the time like this.
Hi thanks for the link. Its actually a Android tablet and phone I am trying to get it run on for reviewing purposes. Long term I will be able to use and upload it to our LMS to review content but this isn't ready.
I was wondering if anyone has had any success in using Dropbox, Google drive or any other free web server to review a course on a Android device.
Are you using SL2? SL1 is not supported on android devices. If you are using SL2 then follow Brett's advice on how to publish. You could sig up to a free trial of Articulate Online whilst you wait for your LMS
Yes I am using SL2. I have been using Brett's advice (thanks Brett) but II had not considered a free trial of Articulate online, Thanks. That might just work for me.
Dropbox should work, but you'll need to place your content into a public folder. However, Dropbox does tend to serve up content pretty slowly. A short term testing alternative would be to load your course to Articulate's Temp Share site. Your course will be hosted for a 10 day period before being deleted. It's free and works really great.

Cheers for all your advice.
Awesome, glad that you were able to get some assistance :)
