It'll likely depend on how your LMS is reading the attempts and tracking scores, as you'll see in this thread, Dan offered some information about how Moodle will record the score based on if it's a re-entry into the course or a new attempt.
Thanks, Ashley, but Dan talks about Moodle. I do not use Moodle.
He mentions "display attempt status option in Moodle". He links to "http://docs.moodle.org/... etc".
But you did mention that the "default way" will depend on what LMS I use.
So now I know I can't use the default way on my LMS. Right now, my LMS is using the last attempt score, no matter if it's higher or lower than the last one. And we need it to use the last one, only if is higher.
Can you -or anyone- help me on doing that? I made a way, but it doesn't seem to be working.
I included the Moodle documentation just as an example - I wasn't sure which LMS you were using. Storyline will send the score each time a course is completed (or when you have set it to submit results), so I'll defer to the community on any workarounds they've come up with.
