Best software to tackle this...

Jul 13, 2013

Hi all,

I've been approached by a client of mine asking if I can create an elearning presentation. They have had one done previously and want me to create something similar. The one that they've had done can be viewed here...

What they want is a series of videos to play through, then a quiz tagged on the end. I'm completely new to Articulate, so was seeking advice on how best to tackle this project? This is what I was thinking...

firstly I was going to create the videos in Adobe After Effects as I use it a lot, then once I've them all done I was going to import them into Articulate as videos so they play through one by one, then create the quiz at the end.

Is this the correct way to do this? And which software packages will I need to buy?

cheers,

Steve

Hi Steve and Welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

Have you considered trying out the various products for the free 30-day trial? You could see what would fit your needs better.

Address in picture above and just click the red 'Free Trials' button to get started.  Studio '09 comes as a suite of products and Storyline is available as well.

Hope this helps!

Hi Leslie,

Thanks for replying to my post, I'll have a look at the full suite, the problem I've got is that my client "typically" wants it doing yesterday!! So I haven't really got time on this occasion to learn them all, and so was hoping I could do it just using Storyline as I've watched a few tutorials on Lynda so kinda know my way round it already. Could I use Storyline to do what I require?

Thanks,

Steve
