I am trying to type a start time for a slide to enter at over 1000 seconds but it will not work... Is this a setting that I can turn off? How can one do this?
Would you mind opening a ticket for us? It would be really helpful if you could record a screencast of what you're trying to do, so we can get a better idea of what the issue might be. You can do that on the second page of this link. Thanks!
Dear all, I see that more than half a year passed and nothing had been done regarding this issue. Am I correct? I am also stuck with the same problem... This is getting really inefficient...
Currently, in the Timing dialog box, you can only set its value to 1,000 seconds, and you'll have to drag the border in the Timeline to change the duration of the slide to more than 1,000 seconds.
Please feel free to share a feature request if you'd like to see this changed in a future version.
In addition to the suggestions here, if there are other features you'd like to see included in future versions of Storyline you're welcome to share your thoughts on those here.

I hope someone resolved this.
This is a major issue with moving objects passed 1000 seconds. Now, I must manually move them.
Ticket was created today with screencast
Welcome to E-Learning Heroes, Robert!
Sorry to hear that you're running into trouble with this, as well. Any chance you can share that case number with me, so I can see what's going on?
Thanks!

Well there is a way around this (kind of). You can add up to 2000 second at one time.
On your slide create single object. Right click and select timing. Set Start Time to 1000 sec and Duration to 1000 sec.
You now have a time line 2000 seconds long. I know its not much but might save a little time lime dragging.
But beyond 2000 seconds :(
Would love for this feature to be added to Storyline. Would save me a TON of time...
Hi All,
how about using alternating layers, each layers calls the other after 1000 Seconds, fore see an exit condition, eg, after a click or after x call...
Cheers
Geert
