Black and white?

Im using storyline 1. I am going through many many slides trying to conform certain objects so they are all white with orange text. I am using the paintbrush tool as I have hundreds of objects to change. The fun part comes when storyline and its magic random generation software comes into play. I will be happily paintbrushing along when one object will give me a black as opposed to white background. I then have to manually change it to white. I have figured out that storyline swaps the black and white scales of the colour picker. However like so much on storyline there is no clear why and it seems completely random. Am I missing something or is this be just another "issue the devs are aware of"?

Hi Sam,
I don't see a particular issue reported to our team that matches the description you mentioned here, so I'd want to first check that you're using the latest update of Storyline 1, update 8. Also you'll want to confirm that you're working on local project files as described here.
Lastly if the behavior persists it may be worth looking into the repair of Storyline as detailed here.
May be that on certain slides you have a different colour theme assigned and as you are using the colour picker this will assign the colour in the theme rather than the absolute colour
