I am having a problem, I have created a Storyline project, published it and ftp'd to my website, but when I go to the link, I get only a white screen, but the tab show the title of the project. I have tried to publish to web with and with out HTML5 and get the same results.
It is a simple drag and drop slideshow with a result's page.
To troubleshoot, I would upload the published content to another server, e.g. TempShare, Dropbox, GoogleDrive (see some info on publishing to these here http://www.articulate.com/support/storyline/publishing-and-sharing-articulate-storyline-content). If the project launches from there, then the issue must be related to your server, which can then be investigated further by your ISP or webmaster.
Thanks for the input, in order to check out the project, I started a trial on Articulate Online and uploaded the project there and it works fine. I also got a response from Godaddy support as follows:
"Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for contactingProfessional Hosting Support regarding your hosting account,epreparis.com. I understand you are experiencing some issues withX-Frame-Options. X-Frame-Options are specifically and directly related to yourcoding. You will need to research how to work with these in order to correctthe problem you are experiencing. I recommend using your favorite search engineto look for the specific search term of "X-Frame-Options". Thank youfor your understanding in this matter. Please contact us if you have anyfurther issues. Neal W. Professional Hosting Support"
Not much help as I am not a programmer and, while I will look this up online, I don't know if there is anything I can do, except go to another ISP.
If any of the "X-Frame-Options" information makes sense to you, any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm glad that you were able to get your course working in Articulate Online, but sorry to hear it's still not working in your own site. We often hear about X-frame options when looking at web objects that aren't displaying within a web page - is that how you've set your Storyline course up to play?
