Which version are you using? Also, are you using the built-in arrow shapes inside Storyline or did you create your own? The arrow shapes within Storyline should all look sharp.
I'm using 360. And it's the reverse: built-in arrows are blurry. Icons or PNG arrows I obtained elsewhere are perfect. Lines are clear too. Arrows are not.
Please see the attached. The curved arrows are SL icons. There is a non-blurry line, but every built-in arrow is blurry.
Try checking your publish settings to see what the image quality is set to. If its low, bump it up to a higher setting.
I haven't experimented with comparing icons vs shapes, but you could also test replacing the arrow icons with the built in lines and shapes in Storyline. You can use the arc tool to create curved arrow shapes as your sample. The other line/arrow options are just formatting the regular line shapes with arrow heads.
Looks like arrows are still blurry. I used a triangle to create lines and an arrow. You can see that the triangle is sharp and clear and the arrow isn't. :(
Has there been any resolution to this issue as I am also experiencing aliasing artefacts when lines are rendered. (The shapes are not crisp as they are not pixel perfect when inspected).
Could do with a solution as I need to import Illustrator images for clear shapes (which is also troublesome as they need converted to EMF files due to no SVG support.
We're still monitoring the impact of this bug and appreciate you letting us know that it's affecting your work. While there isn't an update to share as of yet, I promise we'll keep everyone in this discussion in the loop on any new information.
I'm having issues with blurriness on a dashed-outlined box as well. It looks like it's likely part of this bug based on what Alyssa said. Just wanted to make sure y'all know it's impacting more people.
Very helpful. I'm going to share this with our team again to see if we can gain any further insight, and you're in the right place for all updates. Thanks again for reaching out, and I'm so sorry for any eye aches!
Thanks for reaching out and letting us know that you are running into this issue as well.
I do not have an update on this issue at this time. This conversation is attached so that we can share any news that we have. In the meantime, the default arrow should work clearly for you.
Creating a workflow diagram with numerous lines and arrows. Upon publishing the file, the lines and arrows are very blurry. This is exceptionally disappointing and frustrating. I've updated Storyline on my system which shows: Storyline 360, July 23, 2019, V3.30.19518.0, Installed. Any bug fix available for this yet? Thanks, Martin

Adjusting the quality didn't solve the issue. So I'm going to plan B.
Would be good to have this fixed, as it is an unusable feature.
Can you share a single slide story file with your current arrows on it?
I tried creating one, but only some items show when published--which is a different issue. You may be able to see the blurriness.
That isn't my original file, but it happens across the board.
Hi Amy,
Thanks for sharing a sample file as that's helpful.
Here's what I'm seeing:
Which seems clearer than the image you shared.
Are you using the latest update to Storyline 360, which is Update 18?
3.17x apparently. Updating now. Thanks!
Did that work for you Amy? Just let us know if you need further assistance :)

Hi Amy,
Thanks so much for that screenshot. After further testing, we've discovered blurriness on dashed lines and lines with a custom end type. Here's a sample slide that shows a comparison.
I'm going to bring this to my team so we can begin looking at next steps. As soon as I hear more on this, I'll let you know!
Ah. I had just changed the arrow ends to custom. I'll stick with the default.
Thanks for the followup. :-)
Amy
You're welcome, Amy! I'll keep you posted on our progress with this bug. 😊

Also experiencing this issue. Any update?

Hey Leslie. I'm going to move on and use thicker arrows. They work fine for my purposes. This is what I'm seeing:
Sounds great, Tyler.
Thanks for sharing the image.

Hi Martin!
You're ahead of the game, thanks for sharing that image with us!
I've shared this with our team and will check back when we know the fix! For now, a workaround for this issue is to use the default arrows and lines.
Hi Lauren,
Much appreciated, thank you.
I and I'm sure many others are excited to receive a fix for this.
Thanks again,
Martin
