We've seen the same thing with a handful of fonts. Some appear to shift just one pixel and it's not that noticeable, but others are unacceptable. Century Gothic is definitely the worst offender (so far) with the shift being 4 -5 pixels.
Switching the text from Century Gothic to AvantGarde has worked well for us on one project. It has a very similar look and does not shift.
Myriad Pro shifts a couple of pixels as well to the point of us avoiding making individual words bold when using it.
I'll continue to note other trouble fonts as we identify them. Thanks for continuing the effort to solve this!
