Can I buil-up some kind of trigger so that a learner can bookmark a page to where he can go back the next time he starts-up the course ( is not the same as 'resume' ! ) but only if he wants to ? I use the SCORM-standard for my LMS.
You can do this by creating a t/f variable for each slide and triggering it true with a button. You can then create a Bookmark layer to navigate. Here is an example.
I took what David did and added a little more to it. This would allow someone to delete a bookmark, and save you having to have a button on each slide to view the bookmark. Added a button to the player that lightboxes a "bookmarks" slide.
Articulate Storyline 1 content can be upgraded to Articulate Storyline 2. However, Storyline 2 content can't be opened or edited with Storyline 1. For additional information you may want to review this comparison chart.
But If any1 bookmark the page 2,3 or any other except page 1. then it must come on at the first place, means it should arrange in sequence a/c to the bookmarking of pages.
This thread is a bit older, so I'm not certain that folks are still subscribed. Could you share a bit more information about what you're looking to accomplish so that we could offer some additional ideas or insight?

Hi Thomas,
There wouldn't be a trigger within Storyline that would allow for bookmarking - and the only built in element would be the "Resume" behavior.
I hope that if there is someone in the community who has created something similar, they're able to share that here with you.

Enjoy!
Thanks to all for the quick response.
I would like to use the bookmark trigger in a web-version of a process manual I made with Storyline.
Have a nice weekend !
Hi Jose,
I get an error pop-up that your file 'may have been created in a newer version of Storyline'. Did you use Storyline 2 ?
Aren't they compatible ?
I use Storyline 1 update 5.
Can you help me out please ?

You can use the SL1 file I attached earlier and just add the suggestions that Jose noted above yourself. Should not be that hard to do.
Thanks, David and halupa
