We created a 2-hour compliance course (SCORM 1.2) in Storyline 3. It has a mandatory 2 hour length, so they cannot skip ahead. The course has 16 scenes but no matter when the learner leaves the course, it doesn't resume where they were, it takes them to a slide in the third scene.
This behavior is occurring in SCORM cloud and anywhere else the course is tested. It is imperative that the course resumes exactly where the learner actually was when the course was closed. I'm using Google Chrome.
Thank you for letting us know! We have a couple of other tips that should help overcome this snag.
If you have a large course that exceeds suspend data limits, here are some suggestions for correcting it:
Disable the resume feature in Storyline.
Reduce the number of slides until the resume feature works as expected. The limit will vary depending on a variety of factors. You'll need to test your content in your LMS to verify.
Please let us know if you have any questions about this!

Jim,
You may have to publish the course for SCORM 2004. The amount of data that a SCORM 1.2 course can transmit is much smaller than SCORM 2004.
Try publishing your course for SCORM 2004, 4th edition, and then test it on SCORM Cloud to see if it resumes correctly.
Hey Jim,
Looks like Steve has you covered here, but I wanted to share some additional information on that suspend data for you or anyone following along.
Let us know if that helps you out or if you need some additional help :)
I'm having the same issue as Jim and have followed the instructions and published as SCORM 2004 but my LMS doesn't support 2004.
Any other solutions available?
Regards Dean
