We ran into an issue with courses published in Storyline 2 when you relaunch a course that was previously opened, the Yes and No buttons asking if you would like to resume where you left off do not work. Nothing happens. We tested the same courses in Chrome, Safari on an iPad, Firefox and Internet Explorer and the Yes and No buttons work fine. Everything works as expected. The courses are published in SCORM 1.2. Please, need help for customers.
Are you testing the published file in a learning management system? If not, you may be encountering security and browser restrictions from your local computer. So uploading the published content to SCORM Cloud or any otherLMS will ensure that you can view the content as expected!
If you're already testing in a LMS environment, have you made sure that Flash is enabled in Edge? Here's how to check.
Hi Alyssa - we do have Flash enabled on all browsers - it's almost like the buttons for Yes and No on the resume screen don't work - but if you click elsewhere like under the yes - it will sometimes allow you to resume.
Thanks for sharing your project file with me so that I can take a look.
Upon publishing, I was able to see the issue you shared:
I took a look at the project file and noticed that you had the player set to scale, which can display issues like this. Strange that it is just one browser though.
I updated the setting to optimal size and to lock the player, so it would not scale:
Articulate Storyline lets you control several aspects of the browser and player for your published course, including:
* The size of the browser window * Whether the course stays locked at the same size or lets learners scale it by adjusting the size of their browser windows * Whether the course launches in a separate window and, if so, the properties of that window
So, the buttons on the resume pop-up still did not work for you Wendy? I understand that the formatting is different. I was more curious if that worked for the buttons that you initially reported having an issue with.
Do you see how associates is cut off in the title - I need this resolved ASAP for a client - this has taken a long time to come to a resolution of any kind

I have loaded this to the scorm cloud - in Mircosoft Edge - and even there i have to click "under" the yes for the course to resume
please see attachments - in picture 1 you can see where my cursor is a "hand" and I am able to "click" to resume
In picture 2 you can see the arrow right over yes - and I can 't click on anything
**please note this is uploaded in the SCORM CLOUD
Hi Wendy! That is certainly odd and not something I have seen before. Would you be able to share your .story file for us to take a closer look?
I was unable to replicate this behavior in my file.
yes - I also tested this in the SCORM CLOUD (on Edge) and had the same issue

Does my published output here work better for you?
No that course does not work (please see images to see how it changed our formatting) - also how would the impact mobile learners?

yes the resume buttons did work - i am sorry
Hi Wendy! Thanks for confirming.
I took another look at the formatting, because based on your response I thought I may have caused it.
When previewing your course, it looks the same to me:
Is that not what you are seeing?

Yes, I noticed that in your file:
Good news is that it looks to be on your master slide, so an easy fix.
I just expanded the text box left a bit, so that it is a single line of text:
On your first slide, I just slid the text boxes up a bit so that the button was 'clickable'.
Your updated file is attached.
