Branding on Master slides and Player

Nov 05, 2012

Please excuse me if I am posing a question that has already been addressed, but I couldn't find my way and we are in a hurry as usual!

We are in the process of creating templates, master slides and standardized settings for the Storyline Player and everyone is chomping at the bit to get started. We wanted to have a good idea of what we can do with our e-learning tools before we hand it over to Marketing (eeeeeek!)

So here is what I was wondering:

Is it possible to customize the color of the player. We have a corporate gradient of colors and I was hoping to have a band running across the top of the Player (above where the logo can be snapped in place above the menu). Also can we set the colors on the Player itself?

Also on a few Players in the examples on the Showcase there are buttons for Play/Pause, Fast forward and Rewind. Two examples on the Showcase are Globus Response Communicator and the Death By E-learning lessons. How do we build these?

And finally, on the same Death By E-learning lesson there is a type of "Articulate Powered Presentation" logo next to the buttons. Is it possible to create something like this so that our company can always have a branded Player even if we choose to save real estate and not use the space for the logo above the menu or even offer it to customers we are creating e-learning for?

Thanks in advance for your help! Mia

Welcome to Heroes, Mia!

Here's a job aid to help you quickly identify which parameters in Storyline's player properties are used to control the color of each item on your course player. If you need help with how to customize your player colors, check out this tutorial.

And regarding the showcase examples you mentioned, do you have a link to the ones you liked? I'm not seeing them in the Storyline Showcase...
