Broken layer once revisited?

I have built a course and am trying to complete the course as a user, so I'm clicking all the buttons and trying to break the course, just to make sure I have all my triggers set-up correctly. Unfortunately, in the attached story on the second slide (shows a leprechaun) once you view this slide correctly, if you hit the previous button or replay, you can no longer click on the leprechaun to hear the story, even the next button won't work. Can someone help me figure out why this may be?

Set the slide properties of slide 1.2 to 'Reset to Initial State'.
I tried that and it still doesn't work. I reset to initial state, I watch slide 1.2 the correct way, I then click previous, when it gets back to slide 1.2 you can click the leprechaun again during the audio, but as soon as the audio stops playing you can no longer click on the leprechaun and the next button doesn't work.
Hi Holly,
I think it's actually the opposite - you want to use resume saved state and I also included the variable reference on that slide so that you could see it changing, and then after the entire audio 2 clip plays I'm able to click previous and then next again, and return to slide 1.2 and use the next again to go to slide 1.3. I've attached a copy of the updated .story file here for you.
Hi Ashley,
Somehow, I'm still breaking it. If you click previous before audio 2 is complete, and then return to slide 1.2 the next button will not go to slide 1.3. I'm at a loss for why this is happening. I can see the count you added on the slide and I can see that it changed to true, but the next button is not going to slide 1.3.
Hi Holly,
The one variable is only adjusted after the second audio file has completed, so you'd need to listen to that in it's entirety to be able to advance. That worked for me, when I revisited after listening to the entire audio element then I was able to go back to slide 1.1, continue to slide 1.2 and still have the variable set to go to slide 1.3.
It sounds like I need to put a condition on the prev button only to work once audio 2 is complete. Otherwise, I fear a user is going to discover this glitch and get stuck once this course is zipped into my elearning system.
Problem solved with the new condition on the prev button!!!! Yippie :)
Just was about to respond here - glad you got that figured out with some additional conditions - you definitely don't want them to get stuck!
