Broken Slide
Dec 28, 2012
Hello,
I have created a course and am having problems with one of the slides. When I preview this slide within Storyline it behaves properly. Once it is published and uploaded to my LMS (cornerstone), the slide skips to the next slide before the timeline ends and all of the content on the slide is delivered. Is there a way that I might be able to have someone look at the source file to see if there is something that needs to be fixed? (I'm not certain whether or not this is the appropriate place for me to upload the course).
Thanks!
Sarah

Yes, it is perfectly ok to upload the source file. Hopefully someone here can solve your problem.
Hi Sarah!
Sure! However, you might want to check first and see if it's actually the LMS causing the issue. You might want to test the content in SCORM Cloud, or even try uploading it to a normal web server. Another alternative would be to use Articulate Online (there's a 30 day free trial which should give you plenty of time to test this).
If you'd like to share your file with the community, you can post it here by clicking on the paperclip icon in your response. However, keep in mind that you'll want to post the .story file, not the published output. This file will be listed as a "Articulate Storyline Story" file type.
If you'd like to keep the file confidential, you can submit it in a support case with our technical department. You should be able to attach the file on the second page of the form.
Just let me know if you need any help!

Hi Christine,
Thank you for the suggestions. I honestly feel really lost on SCORM cloud. Is there a resource that you might suggest where I can learn more about how to take advance of the options available?
Thank you!
Sarah
Hi Sarah!
No problem, I should've listed some resources, just in case
Take a look at this Word of Mouth blog post. It covers some common LMS issues and should help you with testing in SCORM Cloud (step 7).
If you have any questions along the way, just let me know!

Sounds like something on the slide not scorm related.
Can you post the slide?
Problem solved. Thank you all! One trigger oversight is all it takes! Thanks for your direction and assistance! ~Sarah
Hey Sarah,
That's great! Glad to hear everything's working for you now. Thanks for the update
Hope you have a Happy New Year!
