I have tried all the 3 options for the browser settings in my Storyline 2 project but I still get scrolling when viewing in a browser. What am I not doing right?
First, are you looking to hide or disable the vertical and horizontal scrollbars in the browser or the scrollbar found in a text entry field? If you could share a screenshot of what you're seeing, that will help me make sure I'm on the same page. ☺️
Hi Lianne! If you replied by email, attachments won't come through. But I think I understand what you're saying. It sounds like the Storyline content (player and all) is bigger than the browser window, and it's forcing the browser to scroll to see all of it. One additional component to this situation is that in HTML5 output, the browser won't get resized. So if the slide size is a little on the big side, the browser might not be able to fit it.
Can you let me know your Story Size? It's found in the Design tab. I'm happy to have a look at your .story file, too. Just attach it here in your next reply!

My player settings are 'Resize Browser to optimal size' and 'Lock player at
optimal size'.

Yes, I believe now that is the issue. My program size is 1280 x 720.
