Bug? Align Center button disabled.

Mar 02, 2019

I use the Align Center so often that I pinned it on the Quick Access tool bar. It works fine, but if I accidently click on this button without having first selected an object on the slide, the button becomes disabled and there seems to be no way to reenable it other than to restart Storyline. Very annoying, especially when working on large projects that take much time to save and reopen.

See this peek video.

This looks like a bug. Anyone else having this problem?

Hi Emily!

We still have this logged as a bug where the align center becomes disabled when it's in the Quick Access Toolbar and double-clicked without an object selected.

There are two workarounds:

  • Make sure an object is selected when pressing Align Center.
  • Remove the Align Center button from the Quick Access Toolbar.

When we do have a fix, we'll report back to this discussion. Thank you for checking in!
