I would like to know on how a user can click on a topic, which presents a drop down menu and then the user can click on each item of the drop down menu to see more information.
Hello Nadira and welcome to the community! I would suggest the following:
Make your topic a State. When the user clicks on one of the topic, tell Storyline to change the state to Menu (or whatever you want to call it). This will display your menu.
Next, create layers for each of the items present in your dropdown menu
Finally, connect the items in your drop down menu to your layers using triggers. One way to do it would be to create hotspots on each of the drop down topics. Then when your user clicks on a topic, tell Storyline to show the intended layer.
That's one way to do it and there are certainly other ways. Best of luck and don't hesitate to utilize the tutorials found here. These will help you accomplish what you have described.
