building custom labels/markers

I seem to be having a consistent challenge with building custom markers... Once I build one, if I move it or duplicate it, it breaks the marker and on hover, the marker is no longer in the correct place. I followed the instructions, I am unclear what exactly I am missing here? Help, please!

Copied with states and alignment messed up.

You moved the object inside the state and when you duplicate it's rebuilding it based on where you have it in the state.

ah... This is so helpful! I am playing to master after taking your webinar--I might be going a bit overboard :)
This is how we learn. A lot of this isn't obvious until it becomes obvious.
