When I import a presentation into Articulate Storyline, it changes the bullet type and font, and remove some of the animations (to the picture). Can anyone tell me how to add an animation to each individual line item and change the formatting back to the original bullets/color?
Perhaps Phil can correct me, but I think there is just one type of bullet in Storyline, and its size depends on the font size. If I need a particular bullet formatting, I'll do my bullet list in PPT, save it as picture, and then insert in Storyline. Sort of a hassle, but what are you going to do. Bulleting isn't Storyline's strong suit, but I'm sure they are working on it.
I'm not really sure what you are trying to do, but if you have a bulleted list that you want annimated and you're not happy with the bullets, try this. Write each list item separately using the insert text function. Find a bullet you like somewhere and capture it as a transparent image. Place the bullet in front of a list item and merge or group them. Do that for all the list items. Then, you can create a variety of appear and disappear annimations. I also like Doug's idea of using symbols.
BTW, I don't think bullets are passe. It depends upon what you use as bullets. Images of any kind can be bullets. They can be any size. You just have to be creative about it.

Storyline only as or type of bullet and not all animations were supported.
I would also love to know how to format the bullets in Storyline. I haven't been able to find anyway to change the style or the size of the bullets.

I have only found a limited number of options for bullets.
These are size & colour
You could always use Symbols
I have attached a sample story and screen grab

Only one type of bullet Daniel is correct.
Hi All,
Its perhaps Articulate's way of telling us that bullet points are passee
Cheers

Hope that works for you,

I agree with what Alan points out.
using images is far better than any normel (dot) bullet point.
They have the advantage they are not automatically resized
hi, I would like to know if it is possible to make each bullet point appear every time the user clicks the mouse.
thanks

Hi Melindie and welcome to Heroes!
There is a great screenr from David Anderson here on how to animate individual bullets.
