Button Acts Like Part of Background Dec 13, 2012 By Debra Miles I added a series of buttons to a slide. When I tried to edit one of the buttons, I was not allowed to select the it. It is treated as though it is part of the slide background. All of the other buttons can be edited. Is this a bug?

Can you click each button on the slide and view the states to verify that no button object contains a second object in its state? I know this sounds silly, but I've seen it happen

Hi again
If the button is neither inside another object or on a slide layer, you can also check your timeline to ensure the layer isn't locked.
Thank you. I deleted the slide and started over, but I will check for those problems the next time that it happens.
