button issue: normal state appearing underneath disabled state

hi,

I have a very annoying issue whereby the normal state of the button appears underneath the disabled state (even though it's not included in the disabled state). Here are the button states - the disabled state is supposed to be gray..

However, in preview mode it gets 'outlined' in pink (as the normal state is appearing underneath for some bizarre reason)..

Any help/advice appreciated!
