Button on Master Slide Not Changing States
Apr 29, 2019
I'm trying to get the "Role of Physical Health Workers" button on the master slide to change to my custom "complete" state after the user clicks the “close” button on the "Role of Physical Health Workers Slide" slide. The first "Types of shelters" button changes to the "Complete" state fine. I have checked my triggers and variable and it should be displaying the correct state for the "Role of Physical Health Workers" button on the master slide.
Not sure how to fix this. I have been trouble shooting this for the past week, starting from scratch over and over. This is my third time trying to fix this button.
Here is MY published version to check out:
I followed the template from the following link:

Hope some can help understand what’s going
Thanks,

Hi Chris,
Two things were making it not work. In the master layout for slide 1.4, the condition for changing the state was not referencing the variable.
On slide 1.4 itself, the trigger for setting your variable to true came after the trigger to jump back to the main menu. As a result, that trigger was never hit, and the variable was not changing.
I've made those two changes and it's working now.
See attached file. There was one trigger on the master that was not assigned to the "Role of..." variable. Also, on slide 1.4 I changed the order of triggers on the close button so that the variable is set to True BEFORE the jump back to slide 1.2.
That's Great!
I did not know that the order in which the triggers were placed changed the value.
Thank you for your help!
Thank you too Michael!
Trigger order is very important. Here is some info.
