Button State not Changing after Visiting Slide Layers

Apr 25, 2017

Hi Everyone,

I've done these types of triggers before where I hide a button until learners visit several layers and display it after they return to the Base Layer. Usually it works.  I'm not sure what's going on.  I just had IT install a different version of SL2.  Not sure if that has something to do with it.  But could you check my triggers and let me know if I'm off somewhere please?

Your file is basing the state of the "Next" button based on the three variables you change and also "When timeline starts". Since the timeline already ran, that trigger will be ignored.

Instead create three objects, set their initial state to hidden. On each of the people links, change the state of each object from hidden to normal. On the Slide Trigger set the state of the "next" button to normal when the state of all three objects is normal. This way it has nothing to do with the timeline. The attached file will show you what to do.

Cheers
