button states

I am going crazy here - I have a "menu" page displaying 6 sections in my Storyline tutorial. I want each button to change from normal to visited state when the user clicks on the button. It appears that I have done things right - when I preview the slide, I get the buttons to turn to their visited state when I click on them (red arrow next to the button.) All looks good until I preview the entire project, then the visited state does not register after I go thru a section and return to the menu page - NO CHECKED BUTTONS! I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong!

Could you post your file (or a portion of it) here, so that we can have a look?
You must have your slide set to remember saved state to show the visited state when you return otherwise it will not show often better to use a custom state and variables instead
That was it! I had the slide set to return to its original state. Thank you Phil!!
