Button that openes a folder Jan 07, 2015 By Meital Kasten I want to create a button in Storyline that will open a local folder. I assume that I might need to use Java script for it. Tried several code lines but none worked, Does someone know a script that works?

Hello Meital!
Welcome to the community! We do have a trigger that can jump to a file on your local drive, but not a folder. I am sure if someone in the community has ideas and suggestions, they will jump in to assist.
So I figure it out eventually,
1) Create a button or a link
2) add trigger of executing Java
3) Paste the following code: window.open(".\\FolderName\\SubFolderName");
Thanks for sharing that information here Meital and I'm glad you were able to determine a method that would work for you.
