I know that courses can be published with or without slide text shown, but is there any way to include a button in the Player that reveals text when pushed? The text would then stay revealed throughout the course until it is pushed again, hiding the text. Is this possible?
I wonder how feasible this would be for projects with lots of slides, but technically it can be done with a toggle-style button on each slide. See attached and here is the published version.
Michael, that setup is nice - thanks for posting that. I'd like something that would be off to the side, like a menu bar with text, so that the content on the slide itself isn't blocked. Perhaps this is just something that isn't possible within this tool.
Wade, if you don't need the Submit button in your course, you could 'repurpose' it to do the same thing. This way the button would be out of the way. You would still need to set up the triggers for each slide. See attached and here is the published version.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you want, but it seems like the Notes field would work for you. Put your text in the Notes field, then set the Player to put the notes in the sidebar. Then the user can see the text (notes) from each slide as they progress through the course. They never have to click again.

Hi Wade. Haven't seen you in a while, I hope all is well!
As in actually built in to the player itself? Not that I'm aware of, no. But you could do this with a custom button on the slide(s).
Then again, some JavaScript experts may know a few tricks for this

That looks great, Michael
All is well - hope the same for you, Christine!

Is this too simple and not what you want at all?
