Button to show correct answer when shuffle enabled

Sep 06, 2012

Hi all.  I am creating a multiple choice quiz and would like to do the following:

-when shuffle is enabled have a button that lets you see the correct answer

-allow the user to enable and disable shuffling of the answers

-using a setting menu hide or display certain buttons ie. answer button

I would really appreciate any help.  I am new at this.  Thanks

Hi R Jordan,

Welcome to Heroes. Once shuffling is enabled it can't be turned off after being published. You the developer would have to change that and then republish in order to turn off shuffling.

Have you seen this tutorial on feedback masters? This should give you a better idea on how to show the correct answers with your questions. Each of these feedback layers would have to be customized for each slide that has a question, though. You would put the correct answer or add a checkmark by the correct answer. The easiest way however, would be to just use the default correct or incorrect layers and use a results slide that would allow the users to review and see the right answers then.

Always Happy to Help,

Adrian

Hi,

I'm having an issue when creating a quiz with Articulate '09.  I've gone through all the steps and disabled the shuffle answers, but my answers still get shuffled.  This doesn't help when one of the choices is  D: all of the above, but shows up when I preview the quiz as A, B, or C.  Anyone able to offer any advice on how I can fix this in my program?

I appreciate a speedy response.

Sincerely,

Kari

Hi KariAnn,

I think it'd be best if we could take a look at your project files to see exactly what's going on. First, create an Articulate Presenter Package of your presentation as described here. Then upload the resulting zip file from your computer on the second page of this form, and we''ll attempt to diagnose what's happening when we receive your upload. Thanks!
