Buttons and items missing when using Chrome

Feb 19, 2019

Hi,

Some buttons and items are going missing when displaying on Google Chrome. But when using Microsoft Edge it comes up fine. I've also tested on SCORM Cloud and got the same result. I'm using the latest update of Storyline 360.

Please see attached screenshot from preview mode and SCORM Cloud. I've also the attached the .story file.

Kind Regards

I'm also having this issue. I have 2 buttons that i have made and when viewing full screen on chrome they have dissappeared.  Weirdly when viewing on a minimilised screen they show! As suggested above i have installed the new update and re-uploaded the course but am still facing the same issue. Both buttons show when using internet explorer however the formatting and fonts  on the slides are wrong so using this instead isnt really an option.

Any advice would be much apreciated!

Hey Rachael!

This issue should be resolved in Storyline 360 Update 25. Since you've already installed that update and you're still seeing a problem, would you be willing to share a sample of your file with our team?

If that works for you, you can upload your file privately to our support team here. We'll give it a test and let you know what we find!

Hi Erika!

Yes, the latest update of Storyline 3 includes this enhancement:

We added support for Google Chrome 72 and Safari 12.0.3. If objects disappear when viewing a course in these browsers, install the latest Storyline 3 update and republish your course.

To check if you're using the latest update, go to the Help tab, then About Storyline. Then download the latest update here if you need to!

EDIT: I thought I had this issue too, but it's something else. I have a player set to stretch, and when the window size becomes large, some text boxes or images get pushed down on the Z order, even as far as behind elements on the slide master! I'm investigating this further and will make a separate thread if required.
