Buttons not Showing Layer on Tablet & Phone

I tested your link on my mobile device (iPhone iOS 10.2) and I was able to open the layers (sometimes after one or two tries) and access the PDF files. Can you tell me more about which devices you tested on and what browsers you were using? It might also be helpful if you could share your file with us here so we can do a little more digging as to why the layer isn't opening on the first try, or not opening at all in your case. Hi Justin, were you able to find a solution? I'm experiencing the same problem: layers display properly on a laptop using Chrome, but do not display on an iPad (also Chrome).

Thanks, Alyssa. I may have discovered a strange mobile quirk. If the layer contains the trigger "hide this layer when user clicks outside OBJECT," the layer will not appear. The trigger "click OBJECT to close layer" does not cause this issue.

Hm, interesting find! Thanks for sharing that. If you do decide to open a case, be sure to let me know your case number. I'd like to follow along to find out what the culprit could be.

I had this same issue occur just this week.  A button, when tapped on a tablet, would not open a layer.  The button worked fine on a PC.  It also worked fine when previewing in Storyline.  But when testing on a tablet, the button did not work.

Replacing the "hide this layer when user clicks outside object" trigger with a close box solved the problem.  Any chance this will be addressed in an update?

What type of tablet were you testing? What was the original trigger? You can also share your .story file publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here.  I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
